Sucessful 3-days at the Ventura Harvest Festival

I would like to extend a big thank you to all of those who stopped by my booth this past weekend at the Ventura Harvest Festival. I received a lot of positive feedback on my furniture (especially the fish tank bench and chair) and sold quite a few pieces. One of the highlight’s of the show was getting one of my of chairs on KTLA 5 morning news. Harvest Festival here I come…

Karl’s Good Wood will be a part of this year’s Ventura Harvest Festival set for Oct 14th – 16th at the Ventura County Fairgrounds . Chairs, benches, clocks, apparel and some newly designed furniture will available for sale. Below is a sneak peak of some of the things I am working on.

 

 

1st Annual Holiday Show at Ashwood

On Friday, November 5th, Ashwood on Main St. Florist will be holding it’s 1st annual holiday show from 5p.m. – 7p.m. I have made two surfboard chairs and four longboard wall clocks to sell at the show.  Other great gifts that will available to purchase include: floral arrangements, floral design class certificates, professional photography (www.kimriddlephotography.com),  cards and Christmas ornaments. KWG SUP Trip

Last month, my wife, brother-in-law and two great friends paddle boarded 63-miles down Lake Mohave to raise awareness about the endangered Razorback Sucker Fish. You can read about this amazing trip by visiting: www.giveadamsucker.wordpress.com

KGW Portfolio Book

I recently got a portfolio book printed showcasing KGW surfboard furniture. The 24-page book  is image heavy and includes some of my recent work. I am excited about how the book turned out and I hope to have it available in local stores soon.
